Mephistopheles Smith Cloven Hooves Tour 2007 is now over.

Janus Theatre Company were the first UK theatre group ever to re-stage the show since 1996, performing at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, Reading South Street and Guildford Electric Theatre.

"A very entertaining show superbly performed by three hugely talented people written by a genius"... check out some of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival reviews at One4Review & Eine Kleine Nichtmusik.

The Cloven Hooves Tour 2007 commenced at Brighton Fringe Festival in May, starring Tim Driesen as Mephistopheles Smith with Lindsey Lauer and Claire Huckle as the Devilettes. The show was voted 2nd "Best Of The Fest" in The Argus' Top Ten Of The Fringe (see copy here) and renouned critic Vera Brozzoni loved it (see review here).

Paul Roberts (former lead singer with The Stranglers) took over as Mephistopheles Smith for performances at Guilfest in July, Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August and Reading South Street Theatre in September. One of music's most charasmatic charmers, Paul brought Richard O'Brien's devil to life in his own unique style. Francesca Casey and Roxanne Palmer starred as the Devilettes.

Images from Guilfest performances can be found on our Press page. For further information on Paul Roberts, take a look at his band Soulsec's website www.soulsec.com

Our original cast returned for the final week at the Electric Theatre in Guildford in October - a fantastic end to the tour.
